We are now looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist and want to help develop the future of rehabilitation within Trelleborg Municipality.

The Workplace

Our operations are growing, and therefore we need to strengthen the team with another physiotherapist. The rehabilitation unit consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, assistive technology technicians, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology consultants. We have close cooperation with nurses and other professionals within care and support.

We are proud to have our own assistive technology center within the municipality, which facilitates daily work and contributes to effective and safe care for our patients. Our premises are centrally located in Trelleborg with good commuting options via local trains and buses. We offer an introductory program and a mentor as support during your initial time with us, to give you the best conditions in your new role.

Job Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist with us, you primarily work within care and support with patients in home care and special housing. In the role of physiotherapist, you are responsible for conducting functional assessments, planning and following up on rehabilitative and habilitative interventions, as well as prescribing medical technical aids. You follow up and evaluate the interventions and ensure that they are documented correctly and clearly. The work is independent, but you also collaborate closely with others in the team and with our patients, where a respectful, empathetic, and attentive approach is a given.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. You have a good ability to plan and structure your work based on the individual's needs, and you can adapt to different situations. You enjoy working independently but also thrive in a team where you contribute to a positive collaborative environment. To succeed in the role, we see that you are confident in your professional role, have good communication skills, and always prioritize the patient's best interests.

Since the work involves home visits, you need to have a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues, and document according to current requirements.

Before a potential employment can be offered, you need to present an acceptable extract from the criminal record.
